BEAM Bench - custom build project, NYC
The BEAM Bench was designed for STUDIO SORS. in 2022, as part of a limited edition two piece bench and dining table collection dedicated to the concept of the 'inside, out". The pieces appear to have an exoskeleton; an intricate and light steel metal outer structure that is light in appearance and meticulously hand welded. The metal structure of the bench design is crafted to hold the soft curved lines of a traditionally interior pine wood framed and upholstered seating element. The structure's design is finalized with an integrated side table.
